We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 10 well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives. This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roofs and sliding windows.
I did the 9 day Northern Circuit route and 9 day safari in February of 2021. This was the most incredible experience of my life.
First off, I would like to say Care Kilimanjaro did an amazing job making sure we were safe during the COVID pandemic and required masks when distancing was not available while providing plenty of sanitization if needed. My boyfriend and I felt privileged to have this safe, positive experience when our guides and porters had been out of work since March while we were hesitant to travel.
The trek to Kilimanjaro was amazing. Seeing our group of porters work so hard and diligently to make sure we had the best experience was inspiring. I watched them in awe as they raced ahead of us to make sure camp was set up after our hike, greeted us as we arrived, and took our packs from us. Our waiter, Pemba, was amazing and provided the best service. Our guides, FC and Abu, were incredibly patient with me, especially on summit night/day, which was very difficult for me with the high altitude. I would have never made it to the Uhuru without FC and Abu; they kindly encouraged me to continue when I was adamant about staying at Stella Point and I'll be forever grateful for that experience.
One thing that really impressed me about Care Kilimanjaro was having female porters. We were the only group I saw who had female porters in our crew - we had 2 in our group and 1 of them works as a guide for the company.
After our 9 day hike, we started a 9 day safari with Raymond, who was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and personable. This experience was a once in a lifetime experience with up close views of all the animals while staying at wonderful lodges with first class service. We had a truly remarkable experience: one day we were able to see a cheetah eating a gazelle up close, hyenas, then 10 lions and cubs all over the central Sergeneti. That was all in one day! Another day, we spent all day trying to watch the wildebeest migration; there were about 15-20 jeeps in the morning wh. Raymond persisted and we eventually caught it along with maybe 1 or 2 other jeeps, and it was a truly remarkable experience. Raymond knew the best places to go and let us adjust the days depending on how much time we wanted to spend out in the park.

I have just completed the 7 Day Machame Route with Care Kilimanjaro, summiting on the 27th Feb 2020. What an amazing experience! I can't speak highly enough of all the staff at Care Kilimanjaro. From the original meet and greet with Fidell, our guides Laraha, Thomas & Daudi waiter Gabi, camp manager Ashim, chef William and all the wonderful porters, the professionalism, support and encouragement was second to none. I celebrated my birthday on summit day there was a special cake for me that night and all my Kili family, fellow trekkers, guides and all the porters crowded into the mess tent to sing happy birthday to me it was very special. I also want to mention I was a solo female traveller and as it turned out the only female in our group. At no time did I feel unsafe or threatened in fact quite the opposite I was made to feel very special. If climbing Kili is your dream look no further than Care Kilimanjaro!
