We recently traveled through Tanzania visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We were impressed by the game-packed game drives with Moses the tour guide from Kitongatours. He knew the parks like the back of his hand, patient and thoughtful letting us enjoy interesting scenes as long as we wanted. Above all he drove the well appointed safari vehicle carefully going through some tricky sections where some rookie drivers got stuck
The accommodations organized by Kitongatours were above excellent. Just the right level of comfort and great food out there in the wild.
I would not think twice about using Kitongatours again.

After hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, I was looking for a short three day safari. From my first contact with Gerald, communication was flawless. It was decided to visit Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara with two overnight stays. I was picked up by Gerald and the Moses just in time for the start of the adventure. It took us a few hours to get to the park. We then spent a few hours watching elephants, zebras and giraffes before stopping for lunch. At the picnic area there are some residents who are very mischievous and will try to take away your lunch, especially apples. Beware of the monkeys. A bonus was the sighting of a cheetah in the afternoon. We then went on to the overnight accommodation, which was in an excellent location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The next day we traveled to Ngorongoro Crater where there were lions, hippos and wildebeest. The black rhinoceros was seen from a distance. Back to accommodation for another night. We spent the last day at Lake Manyara before being dropped off at the airport. Gerald and Moses were helpful and accommodating throughout the entire trip. Thank you and I would recommend them for your future trip to Tanzania.

I do not have the words to describe our Tanzania trip with Kitongatours as it was an epic adventure!
Everything that could go well actually did. At the end the 7 days of Southern safari we did not want to leave.
We had a perfect guide – Paul. He was very knowledgeable and professional all through the trip. He took the time to answer all our questions and shared much more drawn from his many experiences in the bush. We appreciate his skill in spotting wild game, because he was always the first one to point out where the animals were.
We visited all the places (parks/museums/historical sites …) in the itinerary and even had time to shop for gifts in Iringa before our flight out.
Accommodation spots selected by Kitongatours were very nice with just the right mix of relaxation and comfort that one would desire in a safari.
I highly recommend Kitongatours.
We had an incredible experience with Kitonga tours and safaris. did a 7-days Safari through Mikumi national park , Udzungwa mountains and Ruaha national parks with our guide Paul. Everything was really well prepared and scheduled on point. Mr Paul had assured us of a wonderful lifetime experience from the package he was offering us.
The jeep was comfortable, the food was really good too. Big up to the staff.
Our main goal was, of course, to see the animals and Paul was the perfect guide for that. He has an amazing ability to spot the animals, is super knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour that was just the cherry on top of an already great trip. He would always stop and ask us to take photos and advice us on the best way to take great shots .
We visited Tanzania in October 2022, and we loved it. The people were friendly and our Paul Explorer driver/guide was fantastic. A lovely, knowledgeable man who did everything he could to make our visit success.
It’s an amazing country with wildlife in abundance, huge numbers of healthy happy animals, beautiful birds and lovely people. We travelled to 4 different parks, Ruaha, Mikumi, Udzungwa mountains, and Nyerere national park.
We then moved to Zanzibar for 10 days, which was the perfect paradise island I anticipated, built up and heavily populated. However, our hotel was lovely Double Tree Hilton, and the people very welcoming.
I have told all our friends this is the country to go to for Safaris, and I can say this with all honesty, it’s a fantastic place to visit and we loved it. fantastic job by Kitongatours
Experiencing Kitonga tours was great. We had the chance to have the best guide in our eyes (Paul).
Beyond an extraordinary and very beautiful safari to Ruaha national park we discovered the human aspect behind it and that marked us more than the rest. We will never forget the smiles of everyone, the conversations during the short breaks, the songs of our guides and their good experiences on nature. everything was perfect and our ascent was successful until the end of our safari. It was Unforgettable moments with Kitonga tours.
Thank you!
