About Africa Tours

The Out Of Africa Experience (Formerly Africa Tours) is a Kenyan Registered Destination Management Company (DMC) operating in the greater region of East Africa. The Out Of Africa Experience is closely associated with ‘Karen Blixen Group’ under which several other companies operate including, Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages in Nairobi, the luxurious Karen Blixen Tented Camp, Masai Mara and a community and Conservation organization namely Karen Blixen Camp Trust. It is run by a team of professional Safari Experts each with not less than 20 years’ experience. Our main source of visitors is Europe but also receiving visitors from North America, Americas, Australia, Asia and the rest of the world. We provide guides who can communicate in main languages of the world like English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese and Russian and we are still developing guides to cater for other foreign languages.

About our safari vehicles

We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have fleet of well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives. This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort. All of them have hatched roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sight seeing, fridge and sockets for charging electronic devices.
