Our safari in Uganda and Rwanda was nothing short of incredible, and we owe much of that to the fantastic service provided by Cymo African Safaris. She was incredibly helpful and patient, answering all our questions and guiding us toward the perfect itinerary—Queen Elizabeth and Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi.
From the start, Cymo provided us with all the necessary information about dates, visa requirements, what to pack, and a well-structured itinerary. Everything was shared with us in a timely manner, making us feel confident and prepared for our trip.
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, Simon, the director, and Phillip, our guide, were there waiting for us—even at midnight! Their professionalism and friendliness set the tone for the entire trip.
The next day, after a good rest, we embarked on what turned out to be an unforgettable 5-day safari. The Queen Elizabeth National Park was stunning, and the Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi was an experience of a lifetime. Every detail was taken care of, making our journey smooth and stress-free.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a safari tour with Cymo African Safaris, visiting two of Uganda's most iconic national parks—Murchison Falls National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. From start to finish, our journey was nothing short of spectacular, and I can't thank Cymo African Safaris enough for organizing such an unforgettable adventure.
Our safari began in Murchison Falls National Park, and the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the stunning landscapes. The park is known for its incredible wildlife, and it did not disappoint. The highlight of this park was, without a doubt, the Murchison Falls itself—the powerful waterfall cascading down from the Nile River was a sight to behold. We took a boat cruise on the river, which offered a fantastic view of the falls and gave us the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife along the shores, including hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Our game drive in Murchison Falls was equally impressive. We encountered a wide variety of animals, from the majestic elephants to lions lounging under trees. Our guide, who was both knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, made sure we didn’t miss any key highlights. The experience was educational and thrilling at the same time!
Next, we headed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and it was a perfect continuation of our safari. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems, from savannahs to wetlands, and the variety of animals we encountered was breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to see the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, and we also had close-up views of leopards, buffaloes, zebras, and countless antelopes.
The boat safari on the Kazinga Channel was another highlight, offering a peaceful yet thrilling experience as we drifted past hippos, elephants, and colorful birdlife. It’s an excellent way to experience the park from a different perspective.
Cymo African Safaris really went above and beyond in ensuring we had a seamless and memorable trip. From the well-planned itinerary to the attentive and professional guides, everything was taken care of. Our guide, who was both a skilled driver and an expert in animal behavior, ensured we always had the best opportunities for wildlife viewing and shared fascinating insights about the parks and their ecosystems.
The accommodations were also excellent, with comfortable lodges and camps that offered both relaxation and beautiful views of the parks. We felt truly immersed in nature without sacrificing comfort.
