Based in Kenya, we offer exclusive, tailor-made photographic safaris for the discerning traveller. We aim to provide guests with an unforgettable experience of the beauty and diversity of East Africa. Each safari is individually designed, tailored to the specific interests of our guests. Our safaris include breathtaking scenery, mammals, bird life and culture. By staying in exclusive mobile tented camps or small, hand-picked luxury lodges we are able to access some of the most beautiful and remote areas in East Africa.
About our safari vehicles
The choice of how we move between destinations is very much dependent on the preferences of our guests, taking into consideration the time available, cost and distances involved. If time permits then driving enables guests to see more of the country and to develop a feel for day-to-day life by passing through towns and villages and seeing people going about their daily activities. However this needs to be balanced with maximising the time in the field and, if time is short, then flying is recommended. Flying adds another perspective and magnificent views of the landscape can be seen from the air. There are regular scheduled flights to the main National Parks and Reserves, or alternatively private charter planes.
All our vehicles are custom-built, designed with the comfort of our guests in mind. All vehicles have roof hatches and fold-down windscreens to maximise opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. The roof hatches are fitted with tripod head mounts for photographic enthusiasts and beanbags are also available. Shade is provided as required. Each vehicle carries a small selection of field guidebooks and refrigerated drinks. We try to plan for the unexpected so all vehicles are fitted with recovery equipment and full tool kits. Dave services all vehicles himself to ensure the highest standards of maintenance.
