About our safari vehicles

We have two types of safari vehicles both offering the same level of experience We have Minivans and also 4x4 Land Cruisers or jeeps for the safaris. The jeep is superior in handling the roads but when it comes to game viewing both offer the same level of satisfaction.

Go Kenya Tours and Safaris was a perfect choice for our trip to Kenya. We communicated DIRECTLY with the owner during all of our pre-trip planning. He was not only helpful with choices we wanted to make such as where to go, where to stay, and how long to stay but he was extremely helpful in what we would see and the experiences we would have. Because he is located in Kenya and has all of his employees and guides in Kenya, he was familiar with all aspects of the trip. We settled on 2 and a half week tour of Amboseli (Mt. Kilimanjaro area) and Masai Mara. We chose several types of lodge and tent hotels.

The tour company's guides were incredible. The guide in Masai Mara (Simon) was a Masai tribesman and knew the land and location of the animals like nothing we had ever seen. For example, he did not use a radio because he felt his knowledge of the animals and their habitats was more important than using the time talking on a radio. Also, which was very important to us was the fact that this company asked for only 30% up front and the remainder could be paid BY CREDIT CARD on arrival at the Nairobi airport. In fact, we enjoyed the trip so much and the expertise of the tour company that we have stayed in touch with the owner (Robert) since our trip. Robert arranged all the internal flights and connections so that everything ran smoothly. He even arranged a lunch meeting with him on our arrival in Nairobi to review our trip and answer any additional questions we had. The bottom line for this review is that my wife and I are very experienced travelers and have used many tour companies over the years. And we can give "Go Kenya Tours and Safaris" the best rating one could give.

I would VERY strongly recommend this company for your next Kenya safari. Lastly, we wanted to arrive in Masai Mara at the time of the Great Migration and Robert and his company made it possible for us to witness one of the greatest experiences of our lives.

Before a recent visit to Kenya with my grand-daughter I booked a three night safari following conversations with Robert who made various recommendations.
This was my grand-daughter's first safari and it was more than she could ever have expected. In just a few days we had a wonderful experience. Robert had given a very frank and exact description of the lodges and what we could expect to see. We traveled from Nairobi by air (very exciting) and back by road.
Would highly recommend the company, an experience not to be missed.

I was on a business trip to Kenya and myself and some other colleagues decided to add an extra few days on and go on safari. The best decision we ever made. I was able to talk directly to Robert at Go Kenya Tours and Safaris to find the best option for us. We had limited time and wanted to see as much as possible. Robert could not have been more helpful giving us a range of options for accommodation and where we would see the most animals.
We spent the first day at Amboseli and it exceeded all expectations. There were animals everywhere, it was like being on the set of the Lion King. We had a very experienced driver who seemed to know exactly where the animals were and by the end of the first day we had seen everything but cheetahs and rhinos. We were fortunate enough to see a very shy leopard and 3 lionesses munching on a zebra. Amazing and all in the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The next day was spent at Tsavo East, again with dramatic scenery and lots of animals. Work then kicked in but we had such a fantastic time that we contacted Robert and discussed another day out at the end of our business trip which included our transfer to the airport. We were then able to tick off the white and black rhino and 100's of hippos when we took a boat trip.
Go Kenya Tours and Safaris made sure that we had a great time and I would love to come back.
