I traveled with Malawian Style to South Luangwa from Lilongwe, Malawi. We were joined by another German couple who were unbelievably grumpy and difficult. I was very impressed with our guide Francis and his unwavering patience with them. Our drives were long and the border crossing wasn't easy. However, Francis maintained composure and helped us every step of the way. We were greeted upon arrival by the staff at Croc Valley camp. We had two game drives every day with large, beautiful meals and snacks in between. I really felt cared for by both the staff at Croc Valley as well as with Malawian Style. We saw an unbelievable amount of wildlife - it was almost unreal!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit to South Luangwa for any safari-goer - even if it's your very first safari! I also thought the staff at Malawian Style offered appropriate advice and quick replies to all me inquiries. Enjoyed our short trip thoroughly!
