We did a 12 day trip through various NP in northern Tanzania organised by Moonlight Tours Expedition: Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater. The success of such a trip mainly depends on your guide. We were very lucky to have Fredrick himself. He's a really nice person and careful driver. He knew very much and never got tired to show us really everything available in the NP, even after many many hours of driving. Somehow he managed to be always at the best places as well as to keep the car every day clean and tidy. It was great to talk to him, and we became friends. The tented lodges were amazing and comfortable,
We will definitely be back again...
PS: Be aware that on such a trip you need to sit in the car the whole day, and you have only a few possibilities to walk. That is how it needs to be for safety reasons.

On this trip, I visited Tanzania 27-July-2019 and I traveled with 1 other person.
The safari was very well prepared and perfectly organized, the mere fact that we had not one serious problem on such a long journey, is amazing! Thanks to the way Moonlight Tours Expedition helped us to choose among the various possible destinations, we could benefit from an itinerary that led us to variable parts of Tanzania & Kenya and we enjoyed entirely different landscapes and surroundings. Each of the camps and lodges we stayed at had their own charm and asset. Obviously Fredrick Saturun was able to empathize our wishes and preferences so well that we really got what we wanted. There is only one small critical item we would like to mention: What we did not know beforehand (and what we could have been told when planning) was the distance from Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha, which is a car drive of about three hours, not really very much longer than the flight together with the time for waiting and transfer to and from the airport. In addition to this, we flew to Kilimanjaro Airport instead of Arusha Airport, which would have been much nearer to the hotel, although the plane did actually got to Arusha Airport. Still we are intensively happy to recommend Moonlight Tours Expedition and Fredrick as the best safari organizer

In the summer of 2019, with friends at university, we organised a student expedition to Tanzania to climb mountains and carry out fieldwork in the area. Having never organised an expedition to Tanzania before, we really didn't know where to start. However, the support we received from Moonlight Tours Expedition from day one enabled us to have a safe and successful expedition. Whilst planning the trip from Scotland, we had regular conversations with Moonlight Tours Expedition Staff who gave us detailed information about the area. Not only that but Fredrick, our main tour guide, traveled to Engare Sero, our host village, to establish a connection and look at our camp before we got there. This allowed us to have a very positive reception and good first few days. Whilst in the field, Moonlight Tours Expedition set up a dedicated team of support staff including doctors, cooks and guides to ensure our safety was the top priority. Whilst working on human based geographical research Moonlight Tours Expedition went beyond their remit and took members of our team to local camps to interview local people which aided our research. It was overall a fantastic trip and if I am ever in that area again, the first thing I do will be to give Moonlight Tours Expedition a call, even if it is just for a catch up!

I booked the 7 days camping safari over their website and since then the team made my stay in Tanzania perfect. They organized my flights before and after the safari and answered all my question. On the safari we've been a group of 10 people (a family, a couple, some friends) split into two comfortable cars. Our drivers Elisante and David had a great knowledge and were both very good drivers. They made sure, we saw all the animals from a good perspective and had enough time to enjoy them. In the evening we always good delicious food! from the best Africa Cook {Rodgers} The tents are in good conditions and camping in the national park is an amazing experience! We had a lot of fun and I can highly recommend Moonlight Tours Expedition!

Incredible and awesome trip in Africa with my family. Enjoyment was beyond the excitement and experience as we enjoyed the wildebeest migration, lions, leopard and gorilla.
