About Parrot Safaris
Parrot safaris, we are a registered tour company by the ministry of tourism based in the heart of Nairobi Kenya. We operate in Kenya and Tanzania and with our experienced staff and a long term creditable experience in the industry, we are able to meet the client’s wants and offer world class services. We provide satisfying travel services for inbound tours. All in all, we had a great trip, here a few highlights:
Staff: All staff at Parrot Safaris were extremely friendly and helpful. I had doubts booking a safari online, but given I was not in Nairobi physically, I had no choice. However, the team made me very comfortable with the transaction, by showing me proof of legitimacy of the transaction in several ways, even up to the CEO giving me a call. Joseph also helped me a lot to accommodate my special requests (e.g. being picked up along the way), gave me advice for how to travel to Narok and arranged a complimentary airport transfer to me for the day after our return from the safari.
Safari: Even though it was low season, we had a fantastic safari and Eric, our guide, helped us see a lot of animals, including three lionesses killing a buffalo, which was then stolen by a pack of hyenas, lots of elephants, wildebeest, zebras and giraffes, and even two cheetahs.
Accommodation: Miti Mingi Eco camp was also great, it was a wonderful experience to fall asleep to the sounds of nature. The facilities were comfortable and clean, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests from our group, incl. veggie food, a guest fasting for Ramadan and thus having breakfast at 4am, ice cold beer, etc.

Joseph and the staff at Parrot Safaris make sure to provide a memorable holiday! Joseph was super supportive and responsive from the very beginning. He really provides personalized service to answer any questions--I was looking forward to meeting him! We did a three day safari at Masai Mara, but I definitely recommend doing the six day option. Martin is an experienced driver who did his best for us to see as many animals as possible. Thanks for a holiday that we will surely never forget!
