Tropical Trails is an Eco-friendly trekking and Safari Company, centrally located in beautiful Arusha, Tanzania, based at the foot of the impressive Mt. Meru. During our 20+ years of operation we have sought and succeeded in delivering clients a broader picture of Tanzania, its indigenous cultures and pristine wildlife, in an ecological manner. We specialized not only in adventure but also in responsible tourism; free of environmental inadequacy, cultural exploitation, and mass consumption. Tropical Trails was born and has been operating successfully ever since! We can organize any safari you can dream of. We have a very high success in bringing our clients to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro. We do not sub-contract and we own our vehicles (Land cruiser 4x4) and our camping equipment for the treks. All our guides are naturalists and they all master First-Aid procedures. We also owned Karama Lodge in Arusha where we can welcome our guests on their first night and last night in Tanzania.Sort by:
My daughter took me on safari for my 50th B-day and what a great experience! Tropical Trails set up an awesome trip to several parks. Our guide (Steven) was simply amazing. He was so pleasant, very well educated and could clearly teach us (in english) about the wildlife, country and people of Tanzania. I have traveled quite a bit; however, I must say this was one of my favorite trips of all time. The lodging was very comfortable, food was good and the value for your dollar could not be beat!! I know others who have gone on safari and paid 2-3 times what Tropical Trails charged and they had no better experience. Give them a try, you will not be sorry! (Don't miss Ngorongoro Crater)

It was a great experience, and tropical trails managed everything so well. Our driver John was excellent, the places and hotels we visited: Tree Tops Tarangire park, Serengeti Mbalageti Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater lodge, Lake Manyara tented camp, EVERYTHING was great so I would really recommend Tropical Trails, thank you!!!!
