About me

My husband and I love travelling our home country Namibia as well as South Africa and Botswana. Depending on the amount of time we have and what time of the year it is we either do camping or stay in lodges since I need to visit the lodges for my business. I am a Tour Operator in Namibia and I prefer sending my clients to places I have seen and I am sure of a good price in relation to service. Unfortunately not all lodges offer this relation which makes it necessary to visit lodge on a regular basis to update my knowledge and visit new places that look appropriate on the web. I had to find out the hard way that the web is patient, since I once booked a lodge in Zambia for 5 groups in a row and I took all of them off again after the first query and our personal visit. Everything that looked authentic on the web was just nothing to recommend, but fortunately those situations are seldom.

My safari travel style: Middle of the road—I tend to stay in the main camps and lodges. It suits my budget and my preference for creature comforts, such as electricity and hot water.
