I own or work for a safari company that offers tours in Africa

About me

Passionate about authentic tourism, personalised tourism, rather than mass tourism. I have been selling safaris for 30 years, and going on safaris for almost 38 years, starting off with my grandfather in Kruger National Park, who worked in the park since I was 4 years old.
I have travelled to most parts of Southern Africa, and sent thousands of bespoke travellers, from billionaires, and vice presidents of nations, to incentive groups, to humble down to earth families from Cape Town to Kilimanjaro and everything inbetween.
In years gone by, before my children were born, I enjoyed travelling with almost every guest or group possible. Now I have 2 young children and a wife, and a fantastic team of consultants, managers, staff in our office in Cape Town, and we contract with bushpilots, expert rangers and guides, as well as some of the best chefs in the world to bring safaris of the highest level to a broad range of clientele.

My safari travel style: Luxury—Fly me in to a private, tented camp where I can enjoy the finest foods, wines and linens. I’m after exclusive, intimate camps with refined touches.
