About me

Lovers of nature, we prefer "authentic" as opposed to "commercial" places and are enthusiastic about eco-tourism. We live in a very nice area near the Alps so don't feel a need to travel that often but enjoy it. We avoid travelling to places in high season to avoid the crowds, a privilege that comes with retirement and of course its less expensive, something that also has to be taken more into account when retired ! We prefer to stay in small lodgings that have charm as opposed to chain hotels. The "luxury" tents that were proposed to us for Zimbabwe and Botswana, well integrated into their environment were just perfect.
