About me

Coral spirit offers variety of tours in kenya south coast. We practice responsible tourism while allowing our guests to expole kenya south ccoast islands. Our boat team is from the different islands and our restaurant chefs are Kenyan family whose expertise is in swahili dishes as well as international.

Coral Spirit is an end to end tourism company, offering the best of the Wasini Island experience – boat tours in Kisite Mupunguti marine park, snorkeling, scuba diving and fine dining.

Coral Spirit is different, being the first tour company owned by a local manager and working closely with the community, while maintaining European standards. One of our most important causes is to keep the highest level of Eco-friendly operation on the island. Our Resort

Our resort in Wasini offers authentic island experience, with beautiful ocean view comfortable rooms, swimming pool, bar and restaurant, kayaking and more. The diving center offers underwater experience for qualified divers and beginners.

Our resort lays in the east side of Wasini Island in a beautiful bay and a stunning view. All our rooms have ocean view and hot water. We offer in the resort all the facilities for exciting vacation: diving center, kayak, speed boat, wooden dhow, massage, bar, restaurant, games and more.

A friendly sea food restaurant located on Wasini Island, offering you a rich Swahili sea food menu in the most romantic setting. A small boat will take you to and from the restaurant.

Coral Spirit and the Community

Coral Spirit works with communities around Kenya with the aim to help people to get out of poverty. Our projects include:

Milalani School – for children with special needs
Little Sisters of the Poor – for elderly people
Domestic Work – shelter for labor trafficking victims

Coral Spirit and the co-owner Abdul Hemed Juma, together with the team of workers, are an inseparable part of Wasini island community:

Many of the women working in the company are also active in groups and Committees
We arrange training courses in many professional areas for our workers and other friends from the community
Among other projects we help maintain the hygiene level in the village and the regular attendance of children in the local school We work very closely with the village chief, and are available for him in any help he requires
We also support the local football team and the local women team

How to find us?

Coral spirit is located right on the shores of Wasini Island, which lies off the southern Indian Ocean coast of Kenya, across the channel from Shimoni- some 75 km south of Mombasa. Our own boat will take from Shimoni jetty to the island.
