About me

My husband and I have lived and worked in the African Bush for almost a decade. We are both Professional Trails Guides/Field Guides and we dabble in Wildlife Photography and writing/sharing our unique adventures and stories from The Bush.

We love to camp in Botswana and South Africa and are gearing up to expand this into Zimbabwe this coming year.

Our favorite types of adventures are those that give unique sightings and perspectives. We especially love social interactions and large African cats. My all time favorite being leopard but I also have a soft spot for lion and when we are lucky enought o see them, Honey Badger.

An Africa Sunset with a Gin and Tonic or glass of South African red wine is what completes any day in The Bush...

My safari travel style: Back-to-basics—I prefer old school camping and can pitch a mean tent. I like being off the grid and am ready to sleep under the stars. I don’t mind helping set-up or cook dinner. I’m the original safari enthusiast!
