Day 1: Nalemoru to Simba camp

Kilimanjaro

Your climbing will start on a 6.5 km walk from Nalemoru to the simba Campsite, which is located at an altitude of 2625 meters. The kilimanjaro climbing tour will take approximately 3-4 hours and will provide you with a glimpse of the beautiful landscapes of Kilimanjaro. As you climb, you will be surrounded by lush forests and may spot various wildlife such as monkeys and birds.

Day 2: Simba camp to kikelewa camp

You will continue your climbing journey to the Kikelewa Caves, which are located at an altitude of 3679 meters. The climbing tour will be slightly longer, covering a distance of 9 km and taking approximately 6-7 hours. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the stunning scenery of Kilimanjaro and may even catch a glimpse of the famous snow-capped summit.

You will have the opportunity to summit Mount Kilimanjaro via Gilman's Point to Uhuru Peak, which is the highest point in Africa. The ascent will take approximately 5 km and take 5-6 hours. The climb is challenging, but the sense of achievement you will feel when you reach the summit is unparalleled. After a well-deserved rest, you will descend to Horombo Huts, which is located at an altitude of 3705 meters for well deserved rest and overnight.

You will descend from Horombo Huts to Marangu Gate, which is located at an altitude of 1860 meters.
