This 6 days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration Safari is designed to take you to an incredible adventure that will give you a chance to witness and experience the stunning beauty of the Serengeti wildebeest migration animal movements.
The journey Start from Arusha town to Tarangire National Park about 1 hr 54 min, 109.3 km via A104. In Tarangire you will see animals like elephants, Zebra and many birds and big baobab trees.
Next, you will explore Serengeti National Park, renowned for the annual Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. Serengeti is also housing for the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo & rhinoceros and a wide variety of other animals.
This park is located in northwestern Tanzania, bordered to the north by the Kenyan border, where it is continuous with the Maasai Mara National Reserve. To the southeast of the park is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, to the southwest lies Maswa Game Reserve, to the west are the Ikorongo and Grumeti Game Reserves and to the northeast and east lies the Loliondo Game Control Area.
On a normal year when short rains have begun, making the wildebeest to leave the Maasai mara and head back to the much more rejuvenated Serengeti plains, the wildebeest will pass by the Lobo and western Loliondo and below the majestic Gol mountains at the edge of northern part of Ngorongoro conservation area. This is also a perfect spot to watch cheetahs waiting to feast on the herbivores.
This movement can be seen around the North Eastern parts of Serengeti and they usually split into smaller groups for their southward journey.
Finally, the journey concludes at Ngorongoro Crater, a big hole left by a volcano and it's the biggest one of its kind that hasn't filled with water. Inside, there are lots of animals, like lions and elephants, living together. It's also a famous spot for tourists who want to see all these animals up close. The crater is unique because of its history, the animals and the way people and nature get along.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, giraffe and zebra.
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will head out towards the Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never-ending plain grasslands. The Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife in the world. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation

Today you will have another full day in Serengeti, after breakfast head out for a game drive towards the eastern Serengeti. The part is popular for the migration movement from November to December as they head back to the southern parts of Serengeti, it is also a perfect place to spot cheetahs. Be ready to marvel at some dramatic interaction between the herbivores and predators who frequent the area to get a chance of a meal. After a long day, you will get back to your accommodation facility

After getting out of the park you will head to the Ngorongoro crater rim where you will spend the night and enjoy the incredible crater view if the weather allows.
