Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut

Your adventure begins with a drive to Marangu gate, offering fantastic mountain views. As you enter the rainforest zone, you may spot vibrant birds, colobus monkeys, and a rich variety of plant life. The day's trek covers 7km, with an elevation gain from 1,700m to 2,740m, taking 4-5 hours. Dinner and an overnight stay at Mandara Hut provide a tranquil start.
