You will leave Kampala in the morning and start your safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way you will have a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where they are working hard to reintroduce rhinos to Uganda. Here you will go on a trek to see these impressive animals. After this visit you will continue your journey with a picnic lunch to enjoy along the way. Upon arrival to Murchison Falls National Park you will check-in at Fort Murchison lodge.

Game Drive and Top of the Falls

After breakfast you will head out for an action packed game drive where you have the chance of seeing the big cats, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and many more. After the game drive you will head back to the lodge for lunch and then take off for a boat ride to the base of the falls. Here you get to see hippo, Nile crocodile, elephant and a variety of beautiful bird species along the banks of the river. After this boat cruise you will head back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast you will checkout and embark on your last game drive to the park. This gives you a last chance to see the big cats and other wildlife as you head on to visit the top of the falls. This is a magnificent classic highlight of your last day on the safari. You will experience the explosive mass of water at close range as it gushes through a narrow crevice. After this once in a lifetime experience you will leave the park and start the journey to Kampala.
