Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi

DAY 2: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park After breakfast, you will be picked by your driver /guide at 0730hrs to start the safari to Amboseli National Park. Proceed on to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in this beautiful park, famous for its large elephant herds. Arid looking as Amboseli is, it has historically supported both game and the Maasai that kept their herds of cattle here. It is thanks to the waters that run off Africa's greatest mountain that the apparently dry Amboseli, Kenya's first game sanctuary is able to support its wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro broods high over Amboseli, generally cloaked by clouds but appearing in all its snow-shrouded magnificence from time to time. The mountain now provides water for the park, wonderful views and, of course, the most glorious background for animal photography. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge (Full Board Basis)

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi | Tsavo

DAY 4: Amboseli - Tsavo West National Park After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park to arrive late morning park is a vast expanse of savanna stretching from Mtito Andei, along the Mombasa-Nairobi road and south to the Tanzanian border. The park's habitats include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands, rocky ridges and outcrops and extensive ranges There are numerous rocky outcrops and ridges and part of the park, towards the Chyulu Hills, is of recent volcanic origin with lava flows and ash cones including the Shetani lava flow, an example of a recent volcano. In the far south western corner on the Kenya Tanzania border is Lake Jipe, part of which is in the park. This very attractive lake is fed by runoff from Mt. Kilimanjaro and the North Pare mountains. At Mzima Springs, in the North of the park, water that has filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills gushes from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools. Tsavo

Day 6: Tsavo West National Park - Taita Hills Early morning game drive with a bit of luck to see the big cats in the hunt. After breakfast you will then proceed to the Taita Hills to Salt Lick Game Lodge. Fantastically beautiful the oval shaped rooms overlooking a waterhole attracts a large array of wildlife especially elephants. After lunch, it goes to game drive in this Reserve. In the evening you can enjoy a magnificent view over a waterhole which is floodlit and one can observe the nocturnal animal visitors wonderfully. Tsavo

DAY 8: Taita Hills - Tsavo East National Park After breakfast, proceed to Tsavo East National Park. It is the largest national park in Kenya and is dominated by grass and bush savannah and semi-desert steppes. Arrival at Ashnil Aruba lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon you could head for game drive in the Park where you will have to cross the Galana River. You will be able to see the beautiful landscapes of Kenya with different plantations as you drive through to Tsavo. Tsavo Park is known for the dominant park animal which is the elephant. Meals and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge (Full Board Basis)

Nairobi | Tsavo

DAY 10: Tsavo East – Nairobi Last morning game drive in this park. After a scrumptious breakfast, leave your hotel and drive back to Nairobi or optionally a beach extension. A magnificent Safari comes to an end and we wish you a good continuation of your trip to the coast. END OF SERVICES
