NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA

Masai Mara

After being picked up from your hotel/airport, you will go to the office to meet up with the other participants in the group before leaving for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will pass by the Great Rift Valley viewpoint en route, and you will pause for lunch and fuel at Narok Town, continue with the journey to arrive early evening and do the evening game drive.

Masai Mara

Enjoy a full day in the reserve, immersed in wildlife after breakfast. With its picturesque rolling hilltop savannah grassland, it's Kenya's prime spot for game viewing, thanks to its extensive road and track network. Lunch by the hippo pool, watch for crocodiles and hippos. Game drive until 17:00, then opt to visit the Maasai Village. Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

You will leave the Mara Region for Nakuru after breakfast. While traveling on the main highway, there will be picturesque views of Mount Longonot, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Elementaita. Lunch will be served en route. It will be evening when you get to Nakuru town. You will spend the evening and next day at the hotel.

Following breakfast, you will go on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is well-known for having a wide variety of birds, including flamingos. A sanctuary for the conservation of white rhinos is located within the park, and animals like waterbuck and Cape buffalo can be seen close to the shore. After a hearty lunch, proceed on your journey to Naivasha. If you want to see fish eagles and hippos up close, you can opt to go on an extra-cost boat ride on this freshwater lake.

Enjoy a hot lunch or picnic before driving back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Return to your Nairobi hotel, ending a day filled with wilderness exploration and unforgettable sights.
