Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire

Tarangire

Today, you will be picked up from the hotel by our driver guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is almost 3,000 sq km(1,160 sq ml) and is best known for its vast numbers of elephants and baobab trees. With its varied habitats and permanent water, it is home to over 2000 elephants 500 bird species. You will enjoy a packed lunch at picnic site with spectacular view & later proceed with game drive before checking out of the park & drive to your lodge in Karatu town for overnight.

Today you will have an early morning breakfast and be ready to leave around 6:30 am and drive off to Ngorongoro conservation area, descend into the crater for a game tour. The crater contain over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Masai can also be seen herding their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest. Later on in the day, you will drive back to Arusha for a drop-off point that will be advised.
