Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania

Arrival in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Transfer to your accommodation in Arusha. Meet your trekking team for a briefing and gear check. Rest and acclimatize for the upcoming hike.

Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Bivouac Camp

After breakfast, drive to Umbwe Gate for the start of the trek. Begin the hike through dense rainforest, gradually ascending. Reach Cave Bivouac Camp, situated in a natural clearing. Set up camp, rest, and enjoy dinner.

Day3: Cave Bivouac to Barranco Camp

Start the summit attempt around midnight, under the cover of darkness. Ascend steep scree slopes towards Stella Point on the crater rim. From Stella Point, continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Watch the sunrise from the summit, a truly unforgettable experience. Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and brunch. Continue descending to Mweka Camp, situated in the lush rainforest. Celebrate your summit success and rest for the night.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Descend through the rainforest, enjoying the sights and sounds. Reach Mweka Gate, where you'll sign out with park authorities. Receive your summit certificates and say farewell to your trekking team.
