Itinerary
Nairobi - Masai Mara Reserve
You will go through Narok Town before entering the plains on your way to camp. You will enjoy lunch either in the dining hall or under the shade of an indigenous tree. You will enjoy a few minutes of relaxation before you depart for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five. Masai Mara is named after the traditional Maasai inhabitants and the Mara River. You will be driven by the river which is a great place to spot wildlife.
Masai Mara National Reserve Game
After breakfast, with a picnic lunchbox in hand, you will take off for a full day of game viewing in Masai Mara. Today's safari offers you a unique variety of animals. This hilly region is both humid and fertile and is crossed by the Mara and Talek Rivers full of crocodiles and hippos. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons Masai Mara has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa.
Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha
The large predators include lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The smaller predators are the hyenas and jackals. The large herbivores are elephants, rhinos, zebras, hippos, buffalos, and giraffes. You will return to the camp for breakfast, check out, and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot.
Lake Naivasha - Amboseli
You will rise early to enjoy a delicious breakfast and then travel, by road, to Amboseli National Park famous for its breath-taking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park also shelters more than 420 species of birds, enormous elephant populations, and other big game; attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive at Kimana Tented Camp in time for lunch and then head out for a planned afternoon game drive.
Amboseli - Nairobi
You will rise early in the morning to take in the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit and then set out for a morning game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeests to giraffes or baboons. You will return to camp for a full breakfast, check out, and drive back to Nairobi. You will be arriving in the afternoon. Here you will be driven to the airport for your flight back home.
