As you approach Fort Portal town, you’ll encounter vast coffee estates and plantations. Be sure to pause your journey to capture beautiful photos and observe the tea harvesters at work. In Fort Portal, the charming town of the Toro Kingdom of the Batoro, we’ll stop for lunch before continuing to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Full Day Chimpanzee habituation

Kibale

Enjoy breakfast before heading to the Kanyanchu Tracking Centre by 6:50 am for the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. Meet with ranger guides who help track chimps through clues left behind. Unlike regular treks, this experience lasts the entire day, allowing you to observe chimps from dawn to dusk. Witness them waking, feeding, and interacting as you participate in their habituation process. Lunch is provided, and by day’s end, you'll recognize individual chimps and their unique personalities.

Swamp Walk and transfer to Kampala

In the morning, embark on a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Swamp with the local community. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot rare primates such as Red Colobus Monkeys, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Red-Tailed Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, Olive Baboons, and many others, along with a variety of bird species. Afterward, we’ll drive to Fort Portal town for lunch before heading back to Kampala or Entebbe, taking with us unforgettable memories
