Itinerary

Pick-up will be from the SGR station, and from there, we'll embark on a scenic journey to Taita Wildlife Conservancy. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of the landscape and catch glimpses of wildlife. We'll make a few stops to observe any wildlife sightings before heading to Kivuko Eco Camp. After checking in, you can relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive until evening. Dinner will be served at Kivuko, followed by a restful night's sleep.

Kivuko Eco Camp

Wake up at 6:00 a.m. to prepare for the hike. After breakfast and a briefing, we will depart for the trailhead, aiming to start our ascent by 8:00 a.m The hike will start in the dry Savannah plains that surround the base of Mt. Kasigau. Walk past lush montane forest. This part of the hike offers cooler air and an explosion of greenery, with towering trees, carpeting the forest floor. After enjoying the incredible views and some well-deserved rest at the top, walk back

Kivuko Eco Camp

On our last day, we'll begin with a peaceful morning hike around Kivuko, setting off early to enjoy the natural beauty surrounding the camp. The hike will take us through the picturesque trails that wind around the Kivuko area, leading up to the striking Kivuko Rocks. After completing the scenic morning hike around Kivuko, we will return to the camp for a well-deserved breakfast, we will then proceed to check out from the camp.
