After hotel pickup, drive west to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping at the Equator. Enjoy lunch at the lodge, then choose between a boat cruise on the lake or a guided safari walk. Morning visit to the crater lakes, then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with lunch . In the afternoon, visit Bigodi for a swamp walk and community experience. The 4.5km trail, guided by locals, takes about 3 hours through the swamp, where you can spot birds like the Great Blue Turaco and Hornbills, as well as monkeys such as Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, and Vervet Monkeys. Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, home to over 1,450 chimps. The tracking begins at 7 am with a briefing at Kanyanchu, where you'll be guided by rangers to track habituated chimpanzees. Tracking can take 2-4 hours, depending on the chimps' location. Afterward, enjoy lunch at the lodge before a scenic drive through tea plantations, arriving in Entebbe late afternoon for your flight home.
