Away from the crowds, and with an exceptional range and volume of wildlife, you can immerse yourself in a unique and exciting environment. From walking safaris in the South Luangwa Valley – which allow a far closer encounter with nature – to viewing wildlife from the water or as part of a game drive, there’s a vast array of activities available.

South Luangwa
South Luangwa
Morning and afternoon activities. including game drives and walks. Experts have dubbed South Luangwa to be one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world and not without reason. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River, and its oxbow lagoons, is among the most intense in Africa. The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life-blood of this 9 050km2 / 5 623mi² park. It protects a wide variety of wildlife, birds and vegetation.
South Luangwa
South Luangwa
Morning and afternoon activities. including game drives and walks. The now famous ‘walking safari’ originated in South Luangwa and is still one of the finest ways to experience Africa’s pristine wilderness first-hand. There are 60 different animal species and over 400 different bird species in South Luangwa National Park. The only notable exception is the rhino, sadly poached to extinction.
South Luangwa
South Luangwa
Morning and afternoon activities. including game drives and walks. With about 400 of Zambia’s 732 species of birds appearing in the park, including 39 birds of prey and 47 migrant species over summer, there is plenty for the birdwatcher to spot, whatever the season.
Luagwa - Lower Zambezi
Lower Zambezi | South Luangwa
After your morning activity, you transfer to Mfuwe and head to Jeki in the Lower Zambezi, via Lusaka. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your lodge / camp, where you spend 4 nights
Lower Zambezi
Lower Zambezi
Morning and afternoon activities. including game drives and walks. Stretching from the life-affirming waters and riverine foliage, the Lower Zambezi National Park extends through mopane forests, floodplains and the game-rich valley floor, and onwards to the natural barrier of the northern escarpment. Well known for a high concentration of leopard and other species drawn to the mighty Zambezi.
Lower Zambezi
Lower Zambezi
Morning and afternoon activities. including game drives and walks. A relatively undeveloped national park and the youngest in the country, the Lower Zambezi lies across the river from Zimbabwe's Mana Pools, and together they form a massive wildlife sanctuary. Bigger mammals, predators, elephant herds and plains game are attracted to the valley and game viewing is particularly good during the winter months (June's September).
Lower Zambezi
Lower Zambezi
Morning and afternoon activities. including game drives and walks. Crocodiles and hippo dominate the waters, and along the Zambezi banks, the canopy of ebony and fig trees are alive with the constant movement and calls of numerous avian species. Summer offers avid birders sightings of the Narina Trogon and an array of brightly coloured birds and the area is known for its superb birding.
