HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK. Hell’s Gate is situated in the Lake Naivasha area. The park is characterized by diverse topography and amazing geological scenery. Enjoy a 4 hours game drive, Nature walk, or bicycle cycling to cover the 11 Kilometers of the Hells gate. If time permits experience Hell's Gate: Time spent - 4 hours Afternoon drive to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island. Enjoy a guided nature walk in search of teh abundant birds that inhabit this crescent island.

MOUNT LONGONOT – MENENGAI CRATER

Leave theLodge or Hotel head to Mount Longonot gate. Registration and get the guide who will take you up, around and down the crater. Mount Longonot is just less than 9100 feet above sea level with tree-filled interior. A climb up Mount Longonot is an ideal half day trip. The mountain can be navigated in two ways. A straight ascend to the top and back down or reaching the top and circumnavigating the crater rim. The hiking is about 8–9 km long but very steep, which takes around 3 to 4 hrs.

Main Destination:Old Moses Camp After breakfast pick up fro your hotel head to the Sirimon Park gate(2660m). From the gate, we trek up through the magnificent montane forest, bamboo, and giant heather zone before reaching the high altitude moorland and our first hut (Old Moses camp) for dinner and overnight. This is a gentle trek that takes 3 - 4 hrs gaining an elevation of 680m.

Main Destination: Shipton Camp Up the spectacular Mackinder Valley past strange giant groundsel and lobelia plants to emerge onto what looks like a set from Star Trek - Shipton’s Camp at 4,236m. This is a surreal setting below the towering peaks and glaciers, with its resident populations of bizarre rock hyrax and beautiful sunbirds.

Main Destination: Shipton Summit For better acclimatization, you can take a rest day at the Shipton camp. Short walks/day hikes are possible on the summit climb to Oblong and Hausberg tarns gaining an elevation of 370m before returning to the camp for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure. N.B: Climbing high and sleeping low is excellent for acclimatization - but you can do that almost as well toughing in the sun watching the eagles!

Main Destination:Mackinders Camp From Shipton's camp, the trail leads to Kami camp below the north face of Batian. Continuing west – southwest the trails climbs up switchbacks in teh fine snow before reaching Hausberg Col at 4590m. We will descend into teh upper Hausberg valley and rest at teh oblong and Hausberg tarns. Ascending to the crest of a ridge non as Arthur's seat we see the trail winding along with a beautiful series of rock ledges. We will descend to Mackinder's camp for night.

Mackinders Camp - Point Lenana

Main Destination:Point Lenana An early 2.30 is starting for an attempt to reach point Lenana in time for sunrise. The climb takes 4 hrs and to add to the exhilaration, Kilimanjaro is also visible from the horizon. Descend to Mintos hut for full breakfast. After a short rest descend further to Mt Kenya bandas through the gorges valley for dinner & overnight. You can enjoy log fires, hot showers, and bed at teh Bandas!

Main Destination:Chogoria/Nairobi After breakfast, descend on a broad track through bamboo and virgin rain forest to meet the vehicle for the return to Nairobi - usually arriving mid to late afternoon.
