This tour offers a Gorilla trekking experience in Mgahinga Gorilla National Forest, one of the top adventures in Uganda. The activity involves a relatively easy trek through the bamboo jungles in the upper zones of the National Forest to find and spend an hour with the Gorilla and monkeys. Experienced local guides will lead you through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour. Photography is permitted, although not with the use of flash. This is one of the most breathtaking and emotional experiences Africa can offer and is certainly one that will remain with you long after your journey.

Nairobi City - Lake Nakuru Nakuru
Lake Nakuru
Today you will be picked up from the airport given pre-departure breffing at the Airport in your car ready for safaris. On arrival you get a welcome and shown your room. After lunch take a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, which is well known as bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make home in this park. Lake Nakuru kenya Park is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Jinja
Today we head to Jinja. After breakfast in your hotel, you will depart Nakuru for Jinja, driving across the Malaba border. You will pass by the source of the Nile River, the worlds longest. It begins its journey here before crossing through ten African countries and plunging into the Mediterranean Sea. Jinja town is regarded as the adventure capital of East Africa. It is a place brimming with adventure sports and activities, including white water rafting, bungee jumping, and kayaking.

Wake up into a different climate zone, have your breakfast. Then be drive down to Kabale, Uganda’s highest town (2000m), witnessing beautiful, lush scenery along the way. We will camp at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s deepest crater lake (900m). Bunyonyi means “place of the little birds”, so you can expect to view interesting and unique birdlife while staying here. Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains as we transfer to our base in Kisoro, which sits on the southwestern tip of Uganda.

Today we embark on the experience of a lifetime. Trek through the early morning mist in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park The trekking can be demanding and take as long as a full day - a water bottle and good walking shoes or boots are highly recommended. Experienced local guides will lead you through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour. With or without a camera, this is one of the most breathtaking and emotional experiences.

An afternoon boat ride at extra cost among colonies of hippos will be ideal view over the Lake Naivasha. Hell’s Gate including, cycling, rock climbing, trekking through the gorge amongst the geysers, the choice is yours.

You'll be picked up from your hotel to Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. It is located between the beautiful Lake Naivasha and the twin Longonot and Suswa Volcanoes. Surrounding a beautiful volcanic crater lake fringed with acacias, this small sanctuary has many trails, including one for hikers along the steep but diminutive crater rim. The jade-green crater lake is held in high regard by the local Maasai, who believe its alkaline waters help soothe ailing cattle.

Wake up in the morning and you breakfast will be at 7.30 am and you will be picked up by your driver/guide at 8:30 am. End your time in Lake Naivasha National Park with an early drive back to Nairobi, at which point the tour will come to its conclusion.
