This mobile camping safari immerses you in the wild as you spend two nights at various wild camping sites on the Okavango Delta. Relax and enjoy the wildlife of the Delta while being taken care of by a team which comprises of a professional guide, safari chef and camp assistants, all complete with a supply (utility) vehicle. Camping is in private designated campsites. The last two nights are spent at Kasane where you partake in game drives & boat cruises in Chobe NP.

This morning, your safari Guide will meet you and take you to the Xaxanaxa area in Moremi game reserve. You enjoy a game drive as you make your way to camp. Xaxanaxa (pronounced Ka ka na ka), is renowned as a birdwatchers' paradise. In addition to herons, potential sightings include storks, ibises & egrets. The area also supports an array of wildlife and large numbers of fish.

Morning and afternoon game drives are the order of the day. Moremi is home to the most endangered species of large mammals: the cheetah, white rhinoceros, black rhinoceros, African wild dog and lion. Over 500 bird species (from water birds to forest dwellers) and over a 1.000 species of plants are also recognized in the Moremi. This ecosystem is amongst the richest in Africa. Proclaimed a reserve in 1963, it was named after Chief Moremi III of the local Batawana tribe from Ngamiland.

Today, you make your way to the Khwai area on the Okavango Delta. You will spot many animals as you make your way to camp where you stay at one of Botswana's premier wilderness areas, offering both floodplains and forest habitats. The next two days will be spent searching for the diverse wildlife and birdlife this area is known for while enjoying the beauty of the region.

Khwai to Savuti

Chobe National Park with its diverse and impressive landscapes will be our next destination. In search of wildlife, we cross the drier region of Savuti, where bull elephants populate the lowlands. The Savuti region is known for its dynamic ecosystem, which can undergo significant changes over time. The presence of watering holes, dry riverbeds and swamps attract a diverse range of animals, making any game viewing trip an exciting and unpredictable adventure.

We spend the day searching for game on early morning and afternoon game drives. Camping is in private designated areas with bush toilets.

Today we continue to the northern section of Chobe national park which is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. Chobe has the largest elephant, zebra and buffalo population living in the region. We may witness huge herds during our game drive as we make our way to Kasane. The next two nights will be spent in a lodge on the banks of the Chobe River.
