Our driver pick you from the airport, brief you about the itinerary after which he will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park located in southwestern Uganda. The first stop-over at the equator in Kayabwe to have an experience of the equator, you will take pictures as you are standing in both hemispheres of the earth. You will proceed to have your lunch in Mbarara and thereafter embark on your drive arriving in the late afternoon to check-in at lodge for your dinner and an overnight.

Wake for breakfast, meet your driver guide and hit the jungle in endless savannah plains for game viewing. You will spot a variety of animals for example the early grazers like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, bushbucks, lions, hyenas, leopards, hippos. You will return to the lodge for lunch before you proceed for the Kazinga boat cruise in the afternoon at around 3pm. The boat cruise will last for about 2hours, you will encounter aquatic life such as hippopotamuses, crocodiles, birds.

Transfer to Bwindi

Wake up and greet your intestines with a cup of coffee, check-out of the lodge, meet your driver guide and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through the Ishasha sector where you will spot the tree climbing lions hang and relax up in tree brunches. This is about 5hours’ drive via Kabale-Kisoro road arriving in the afternoon to check-in at your lodge and have lunch. You will loosen up after your lunch as you wait to have dinner and an overnight.

Wake-up to a hefty breakfast at 7am, get your lunch packed and be driven to the park headquarters to for a briefing about the gorillas , you will be assigned a gorilla family to track and the ranger guide to answer all your questions. Trekking down a gorilla family may last for 1 to 6 hours, you will enjoy 1hour in their presence after you have located the gorilla family and later descend back to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will be driven further southwards to Mgahinga National Park

Arise for breakfast, transfer for a briefing about gorilla trekking. You will be led by the ranger to go trekking gorilla family. Spend an hour in their presence. Return to the lodge for lunch after which you will proceed for the Batwa cultural trail. Cultural trail will lead you through the forests they lived in ancient times while you try out their cultural practices such as use of bow. Visit their sacred place known as the Garama caves where you will enjoy their cultural performances.

Golden monkey and Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, transfer for a briefing about the golden monkey trekking. You will be led by the rangers for a hike to the mount slopes dominated by bamboo forests to locate the beautiful golden monkeys. Return back to the lodge for an early lunch and immediately set off to Lake Bunyonyi to have a boat cruise as you make visits to its islands while you capture its scenic beauty and the neighboring areas.

Transfer to Kampala and departure

Your last safari day starts with breakfast, check out and hit the road for your 8 to 9 hours to Kampala or Entebbe and this will mark the end of your safari.
