Safari summary
This tour gives you an insight into the uniqueness of these 2 places in Namibia: Etosha National Park and Sossusvlei. It combines wildlife and scenery in a short space of time. The Sossusvlei area forms part of a wider region of the southern Namib Desert with homogeneous features about 32 000 km². This area is characterized by high sand dunes in different shades of orange - the color an indication of a high concentration of iron, after being exposed to the process of oxidation over many years. Etosha is a renowned national park in Namibia, unique in its own way as the concentration and diversity around waterholes in the dry season in magnificent, giving one a chance to see animal dramas unfolding as they make turns to quench their thirst. This park is semi-arid; hence animals depend on contact springs, water level springs, artesian springs and a couple of man-made waterholes for water. The southern part we will be visiting is very dry and has mainly man-made waterholes where wildlife congregates in huge numbers.
