Etosha
On the second day, you will do the morning and afternoon game drives. The game and birds found in this part of the park are typical of the savannah plains of southern Africa but include several species endemic to this western side of the continent, adjacent to the Namib Desert. The waterhole around the lodge is one of the most active ones at night. You'll watch herds of elephants, various antelopes, and rhinos making turns to drink water hierarchically. The waterhole is accessible 24 hours.

Etosha
You will have a relaxed morning and explore the southern Etosha once again before heading northeast to the central part. Vegetation will start changing from the open dwarf thorn bush to mopane woodlands. The central Etosha is hilly in a rather topographically flat area hence the chances of encountering elusive species like leopards. You will have an afternoon game drive around central Etosha. At your lodge, there is a waterhole accessible 24 hours.
