Safari summary

Masai Mara National Reserve is truly a mesmerizing park, with its open space and rolling plains it offers easy access to view animals and bird life. This is where you can also have a cultural experience by visiting a Maasai Village (Manyatta) to see first-hand how these Kenyans have preserved their yesteryears traditions right into the 21st Century. One morning you can opt to do your game viewing up in the air in a hot-air balloon. While you are still in the Rift Valley you will venture into Lake Nakuru National Park famous for mostly its 450 species of birds but also some most sought-after mammals like the rhinoceros and leopard. And before you know it you are further up in the arid northern part of Kenya in the twin reserves of Samburu and Buffalo Springs. These are hosts to their own endemic species of Somali Ostrich, Grevy's Zebra, gerenuks, beisa oryx and Reticulated Giraffe. You will retrace your track back south as you drive in the early morning with fantastic views of Mount Kenya the second-highest mountain in Africa. Cross the Equator once again at Nayuki as you head on to Mweiga for lunch. Spend the night on a tree lodge deep inside The Aberdare National Park forest. After here you head to where the safaris originated as far back in the 15th century as you head on to Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks which are characterised by a frontage or backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa and only free-standing in the world. This side of Kenya is famous for its large herds of elephants many with very impressive long tusks. The end of the safari will be either at Voi Railways Station or by road back to Nairobi or by rail or road to Mombasa either north or south coast as per your choice of beach hotel or simply fly out of Moi International Airport if not going to the beach. Welcome on board, we will never limit your exploration!
You will go through the central highlands of Kenya, The Aberdare National Park and Mount Kenya with a scheduled overnight stay in the former. The scenery is amazing and so different from the Rift Valley, giving our visitors a diverse photography opportunity. The safari reaches its climax with two nights at the iconic Tsavo Parks made famous by stories of man eating lions during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway line in the early parts of the 19th century. With several different habitats you can rest assured of not being disappointed as you may see what other reserves were not "willing" to offer.
