This is the privilege to travel on safari in Tanzania during the Great Wildebeests Migration period where wildebeest, zebra and other spectacular wildlife move from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania into the Masai Mara in southern Kenya. Included in our itinerary will be visits to the best wildlife National Parks of Northern Tanzania which contain an abundance of wildlife seen nowhere else on Earth – Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the vast Serengeti. The major aim of this safari is to witness the annual wildebeest migration in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on the planet!

Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE JRO - ARUSHA
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International airport. You will be met by our representative with the guide and transferred to Venus Premier Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE - KARATU
Tarangire
After an early breakfast, you drive out to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive. Tarangire National Park is ideally located some 118 km from Arusha and is massive, at 2,850 square kilometers it is the sixth largest park in the country. Tarangire is probably one of the best places in the world to see large numbers of elephants, living and co-existing in their natural habitats. Day 3: KARATU - SERENGETI NAT. PARK
Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you drive via the Ngorongoro and head towards the Serengeti National Park. You will have a chance to visit one of numerous Maasai Villages found in the area to have a little experience of their culture. You will then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area. You will have short game drive in the area and evening drive to the northern Serengeti for dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camps

Day 4: Mara River
Serengeti
On this day we depart early in the morning with our packed meals and drive to the Mara River whereby groups of wildebeests will be congregating along the river waiting for their time to cross. The wait to see them crossing is exhilarating, everyone alert if any point they cross! It is such an adventurous event to witness one. The monsters crocodiles will also be waiting for their meals after almost a year long. Spend the day along the Mara River. Evening drive back to Tanzania Bush Camps.

Day 5: Mara River - Seronera
Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you will drive out for a half day game drive viewing the great migration along the Mara River and surrounding areas for another crossing. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of lucky. You will spend the day here and then late in the afternoon you leave and drive to Central Serengeti. Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Serengeti
You will rise early to enjoy an early morning game drive. At sunrise, you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day. You will stop for lunch at one of the picnic sites. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive. Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lion. You will return to camp in time to enjoy a sundowner before your evening meal

Day 7: Ngorongoro - Karatu
Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Ngorongoro crater. After check in you descend down 600 meters into the crater for a full day game drive. The Ngorongoro crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, flamingos, hippos which can be seen here. After lunch you leave the crater and drive to Karatu

Day 8:Manyara - Kilimanjaro Airport

Breakfast and early lunch and then transfer via Arusha to Kilimanjaro International airport for your flight home.
