Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Antananarivo: Meet upon arrival. Transfer to your Hotel. Bed and breakfast at Hotel Combava.

Day 2

Day 2: Antananarivo-Perinet( 135 km): After breakfast, drive to Perinet village with stop at the reptile farm to see Geckoes, Chameleons, snakes, frogs, butter flies… after the visit drive to Perinet check-in at your Hotel. In the afternoon, visit of Vakona Reserve followed by a nightwalk. Half board at Hotel Feon’ny Ala.

Day 3

Day 3: Perinet: Full day visit of the rainforest of Analamazaotra. Half board at Hotel Feon’ny Ala.

Day 4

Day 4: Perinet- Antsirabe( 305 km): After breakfast, full drive to the town of Antsirabe with stops on the way to see villages, markets and a cocking pot factory. Half board at Hotel Cristal.

Day 5

Day 5: Antsirabe-Ranomafana (255 km): After breakfast, full day drive to Ranomafana. Stop at Ambositra to visit shop’s for Wood carvings. Lunch with folklorique animation at Amohiamhaosa. Half board at Hotel le Grenat.

Day 6

Day 6: Ranoamfana: Full day visit of the national park of Ranomafana followed by a nightwalk. Half board at Hotel le Grenat.

Day 7

Day 7: Ranomafana –Ranohira/Isalo( 350 km): After breakfast, drive southward. Your first stop is at Ambalavao town to visit the 'Antemoro Paper Factory'. Later you continue to Ihosy , the capital of the Bara tribes with stop at a small park to see Ring tailed lemurs. Continuation of the drive through the huge 'Plateaux de Horombe' where hundreds of zebus are grazing at liberty. Half board at Isalo Rock Lodge.

Day 8

Day 8: Isalo: Full day trek to visit Isalo National Park. Exploration of the massif . Visit of “Canyons des Singes to see 3 different species of Lemurs: White Sifaka, Brown Lemurs and Lemur Catta. Continuation of the trekking to the 'Natural swimming -pool'. Along the walk we will see vegetation like Tapia tree, Pachypodium, Aloes. Walk back to the village. Visit of “Interpretation Centre” where you can have more information about geology, history , fauna and flora of Isalo. Half board at Hotel Isalo Rocklodge.

Day 9

Day 9: Isalo -Tulear(224 km): After breakfast, visit of Cascade des Nymphes at Isalo Park. Afternoon, drive to Tulear. This drive brings you new scenery. Half Board at Hotel Victory.

Day 10

Day 10: Tulear -Anakao: Morning transfer by boat to Anakao village which is at 40 km South of Tulear. Sea excursions to be arranged with the Hotel. 3 nights on half board at Hotel Safari Vezo.

Day 11

Day 11: Anakao: Day at leisure on the beach of Anakao. Overnight at Hotel Safari Vezo.

Day 12

Day 12: Anakao: Day at leisure on the beach of Anakao. Hotel Safari Vezo.

Day 13

Day 13: Anakao – Tana: After breakfast, transfer to Tulear airport. Fly back to Antananarivo. Visit of the handicraft market. Dinner at Hotel Combava. Transfer to Tana airport. Fly back HOME OR Safari Extension to Tanzania Included: Accommodation on half board (Dinner and continental breakfast). Lunch with folklorique animation at Ambohimasoa.
