9 Day Invitation to SA

Day 1:  Cape Town Upon arrival at Cape Town International airport guests will be met by an Italian guide who will hand over vouchers and explain all the details of the tour. A driver will be waiting to transfer guests to The Charles Café & rooms. (approx. 20km) The Charles Café & Rooms: This charming guest house with Georgian-style façade is situated in the heart of De Waterkant Village. It offers views over Cape Town landmarks Table Mountain and V & A Waterfront from its rooftop terrace.  Rooms feature African art work and original Cape cottage furniture.  Breakfast is served at the Village Cafe, situated in DeWaterkant Village within walking distance from The Charles. Guests can relax on the rooftop terrace and enjoy the surrounding views.  The hotel is a short walk from the boutique shops and great restaurants of Cape Quarter. Day 3:  Cape Town "The Mother City" After breakfast at the hotel an Italian speaking guide will collect you at approximately 08:30am for the scheduled full day Cape point tour. Depart via Clifton, Camps Bay and arrive at Hout Bay for a cruise to Seal Island, then proceed to Constantia and Kirstenbosch Gardens for a visit to this world famous botanical gardens. After your walk, we proceed to Kalk Bay for optional stop for lunch. In the afternoon we proceed to Boulders Beach and visit to the penguins before heading out to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Return to your hotel approximately 17h30-18h00. Overnight at The Charles Café & rooms in a Classic room, inclusive of breakfast

Kruger

Day 5:  Mpumalanga Lowveld After breakfast at the hotel transfer by road to Cape Town International airport.  Upon arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International airport a driver will be waiting to transfer you to Casa do Sol in Hazyview (Approx. 50km) At the unique Casa Do Sol Hotel & Resort, there is a wide choice of luxury accommodation catering for all tastes, with conference facilities and beautiful surroundings. Casa Do Sol is a taste of the best that Africa can be.  Just beyond the boundaries of the hotel lie some of the jewels of the area: God's Window, the Blyde River Canyon and all the other scenic glories of Mpumalanga - and that last great haven of wildlife, the Kruger National Park, is just a hop away. We suggest: Elephant Whispers Interaction & back ride, situated 5 minutes drive from Casa Do Sol.  For a memorable hour, guests have the chance to interact with these enormous creatures – handing out pellets and touching the varying textures of their trunk, tongue, skin and feet.  After the interaction, saddle-up and set off into the African bush on the back of the elephant. Enjoy a different perspective while embarking on a journey that was once a privilege reserved only for kings! Overnight at Casa do Sol Hotel in a standard room inclusive of breakfast.

Greater Kruger | Kruger

Day 7:  SAFARI! Greater Kruger National Park In the afternoon a driver will collect you from the lodge to visit Jessica the hippo.  First you will be shown a short video about Jessica and her story.  You will then move down to the raft and feed Jessica the snack of the day, followed by her two bottles of tea. Jessica is a 10 year old female Hippopotamus who lives near Hoedspruit.  What makes Jessica so special and unique, is the fact that she’s a wild animal that interacts with humans in a rather different way than nature has intended.  It is well believed that Hippos are some of the most dangerous and fearsome creatures in Africa.  With Jessica, this is definitely not the case since she loves interaction with humans.  Due to her behavior, Jessica has become somewhat of a worldwide phenomenon. Overnight at Karongwe Chisomo Lodge in a safari suite inclusive of all meals and game viewing activities (drinks excluded)

Day 9:  Depart After your last morning safari and breakfast at the lodge, transfer by road to Hoedspruit airport.
