Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo West In the morning you are picked up by your driver at the reception of your hotel and drive to Bachuma Gate in your comfortable safari vehicle where you can have a short break. You drive further to Tsavo River Gate, where you start your thrilling safari with the first game drive. The way to the Severin Safari Camp****S leads you alongside the Chyulu Hills, the five sisters and the extensive African Savannas. The camp is located in the centre of the well-known Kitani wildlife area, which is close to the Tsavo River. Friendly service and comfort await you at camp in the middle of the African wilderness. All of our octagon tents are equipped with running hot and cold water, shower, separate toilet with bidet, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and a private terrace. The four stonewalled junior suites have a separate lounge, a sun deck with sun beds and a private courtyard with outdoor shower. The look-out decks of the roomy Kibo and Mawenzi Suites offer a splendid view of Mount Kilimanjaro and the expanse of the savannah. Additionally equipped with a corner bath tub and connected to a second tent. All tents and suites are supplied with electricity and provide a SEVERIN hairdryer and a safe. At noon, you will have lunch at our Out of Africa restaurant. In the afternoon, you go on an excursion to the popular Mzima Springs, a little oasis of palm trees and acacias. This crystal-clear spring, idyllically edged with papyrus plants, is the main provider of water to the town of Mombasa. The area is a paradise for fish, hippos and crocodiles. This evening you will enjoy an á la Carte dinner at our restaurant. You can choose from a selection of fresh dishes and the finest African wines. The chef's specialty is meat or poultry prepared on a hot stone or served as a fondue. After an exciting day in the wilderness, you can observe the passing animals while relaxing around the campfire or enjoying your sumptuous dinner.

Tsavo

Day 3: Tsavo West - Mombasa After breakfast, your driver will take you to Tsavo River Gate. The game drive will lead you alongside the Roaring Rocks, which served the Mau Mau warriors as a hideout during the Kenyan Independence War. On the way, you can once again enjoy the unique landscapes and the breathtaking animal kingdom of Kenya. On departure from Tsavo West National Park, your way leads you back to Bachuma Gate and Mombasa. On the way back, you will have a break to enjoy the delicious lunch box. After an exciting time in the African wilderness, you will arrive at your hotel in the afternoon.
