Day 01

Nairobi

Day 01: Nairobi Arrive in Nairobi Airport, Met and be transferred to Nairobi Serena hotel by our tour representative. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 02

Nairobi

Day 02: Nairobi Pick up from Hotel by our tour guide for an excursion to places of interest around Nairobi, may include; David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage, Giraffe center, Karen Blixen Museum and the Nairobi Museum. Lunch in a restaurant outside your hotel.

Day 03

Nairobi | Samburu

Day 03: Nairobi - Nanyuki giraffe in SamburuDepart from Nairobi at 0730 Hours heading north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands with coffee, wheat and horticulture farms among other plantations. Arrive at the Sweet waters tented camp along the Equator in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive in Olpejeta game ranch which is also a sanctuary for the chimpanzees. Overnight at Sweet waters tented camp. (L,D,B)

Day 04

Samburu

Day 04: Nanyuki - Samburu After breakfast proceed north of the Equator past the cool central highlands and descend to the wildlife rich northern savanna woodlands. Arrive in Samburu game reserve in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. Overnight at the lodge (L, D, B)

Day 05

Samburu

Day 05: Samburu Spend the full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game viewing drive included. During the hot day you can choose to visit the local communities living adjacent to this game reserve or relax by the swimming pool. Overnight at the lodge (L, D, and B)

Day 06

Samburu

Day 06: Samburu – Aberdares Breakfast and drive back to the Central highlands. Arrive in Nyeri town, the provincial administrative center of the central region of Kenya. Check in to the Aberdares country club which is the base hotel for The Ark. After Lunch at 1430 hours you will be transferred to the main hotel in Aberdare National Park. The Ark is elevated and have balconies that provide good view and photography of wildlife from nearby saltlick/waterhole and open fields. Overnight at The Ark (D, B)

Day 07

Day 07: Aberdares – Naivasha/The Great Rift Valley Lodge After breakfast, drive via Thomson falls and enter the Great Rift Valley, drive to The Great Rift Valley Lodge in Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure or optional activities around the lodge. Overnight at The Great Rift Valley lodge (L, D, and B)

Day 08

Lake Nakuru

Day 08: Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, drive to Nakuru National Park which is a bird and rhino sanctuary, famous internationally for its flamingoes. There are also other wild animals to be seen including leopards on a luck day. You will have an option of a picnic lunch or a hot lunch in the park before embarking on a return trip to Naivasha. Overnight at The Great Rift Valley lodge (L,D,B)

Day 09

Masai Mara

Day 09: Naivasha – Masai Mara (Intrepids) Depart The Great Rift Valley lodge after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley and conspicuous Masai land plains into the world famous Masai Mara Game reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game viewing drive. Overnight at Mara Intrepids tented camp (L, D, and B)

Masai Mara

Day 11: Masai Mara Full day in the game reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Depending on the weather and animal pattern, a full day drive with picnic lunch can be an option for either one or the two days. Overnight at Serena lodge (L, D, and B)

Masai Mara | Nairobi

Day 12: Masai Mara–Nairobi After breakfast, depart the Mara by Air from Mara Serena Air stripe at 1100hours arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure which may include shopping. Evening transfer to the airport if your outbound flight is on this day. End of Safari.
