Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Maun Upon arrival at Maun international airport, you will be assisted in final preparations (local SIM card, forex, etc.) before your Safari starts. Transfer to a good level lodge. Dinner in Maun not included.

Day 2

Chobe | Moremi

Days 2-3-4-5-6-7: Mobile Safari - Moremi / Savuti / Chobe National Park Breakfast at the lodge and transfer to the Moremi Game Reserve. 6 days of mobile safari in Botswana’s most fashinating parks: 2 nights in the  Moremi Game Reserve, 2nights in Savuti National Park and 2 nights in Chobe National Park. The Mobile Safari includes  2 game drives per day, 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), water, juices, soft drinks and local wine. Nights are spend in camping tents in unfenced camps inside the parks. Full-board arrangement, cooked by the accompanying cook. /B/L/D

Chobe

Day 8: Kasane After breakfast we will exit Chobe National Park. Based on your return flight, you will be transferred to the airport. End of tour. B/-/   Safari: Botswana - Green Route  Mobile Safari - English speaking guide

Day 9

Okavango Delta

Day 9:
 Based on your return flight, you will be transferred to the airport. End of tour. B/-/-/ Extension 2: Okavango Delta fly-in trip  1 day extension for a visit to the Okavango Delta. The fly-in trip on the Okavango Delta must take place BEFORE the safari commences, because it will start and end n Maun. The Okavango Delta in Botswana is a very large inland delta formed where the Okavango River reaches a tectonic trough in the central part of the basin of the Kalahari. All the water reaching the Delta is ultimately evaporated and transpired, and does not flow into any sea or ocean. Each year approximately 11 cubic kilometres of water spreads over the 6,000-15,000 km2 area. The scale and magnificence of the Okavango Delta helped it secure a position as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.] On 22 June 2014, the Okavango Delta became the 1000th site to be officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Day -1 (The day before the safari commences):
 Welcome in Maun and transfer to a local guesthouse on a B&B basis.

Day 1

Okavango Delta | Victoria Falls

Day 1 (The first day of the safari):
 Okavango Delta fly-in trip: Scenographic flight over the Delta on a small Cessna and landing on an island within the Delta. Refreshment and Mokoro safari (traditional dugout canoe) in the canals.  Walking safari with a packed lunch in the early afternoon. Return to the original island by Mokoro and fly back to Maun on a small Cessna. transfer to the Guesthouse and meeting with the other participants. B&B.  Cost:   US$ 520,00 p.p. (no minimum number). Extension 3: Victoria Falls  3 days extensions to visit the world-famous Victoria Falls. In this case your return flight will need to be booked from Livingstone. Victoria Falls are one of the seven natural wonders of the world. With the power of half a million cubic meters of water per minute in the rain season, a width of 1700 mt and an approximate hight of 100mt they are the longest uninterrupted cataract of free falling water. A visit to the Victoria Falls is a highlight on anybody’s life.

Day 8

Victoria Falls

Day 8:
 Border crossing into Zambia and transfer to Livingstone. Accommodation at Olga’s Guesthouse, where you will stay for 2 nights on a Bed&Breakfast basis. Afternoon guided visit to the Victoria Falls. B/-/-

Day 9

Day 9:
 Free day available for optional activities. Among others, we suggest a scenic helicopter or microlight flight over the falls, white water Rafting,etc. night at Olga’s Guesthouse. B/-/-/


Day 10

Day 10: 
 You will be taken to the airport and catch an internal flight to Lusaka, from where you will connect to your international return flight.
