Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Airport Transfer from Entebbe International Airport: Overnight at the Protea Entebbe Hotel. Protea Hotel Entebbe: Africa’s top hotel company joins the Marriott’s family of brands. Day 2

Murchison Falls

Day 2: Road Driver to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (Rhino Sanctuary) Trekking: Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch located in Nakasongola district is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The Rhino re-introduction project is a project of Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority. Located 176km (100 miles) north of Kampala on the Gulu highway towards Murchison Falls (branch off at Nakitoma trading centre). Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. Presently the sanctuary is home to fifteen (15) southern white rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists; for rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks and relaxation.

Day 3

Murchison Falls

Day 3: Full Day Tour at Murchison Falls National Park: Murchison Falls Conservation Area ( MFCA ) comprises of Murchison Falls National Park, Bugungu and Karuma Falls Wildlife Reserves. This is where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos and crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterised by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and many bird species.

Day 4

Queen Elizabeth

Day 4: Full Day Tour at Queen Elizabeth National Park: Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular game reserve for Uganda safaris and certainly one most scenic. It stretches from the crater-dotted foothills of the Rwenzori range in the north, along the shores of Lake Edward to the remote Ishasha River in the south, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savanna and wetlands to gallery and lowland forest. QENP is known for its wildlife, including hippopotami, crocodiles, elephants, leopards, Congo lions, and chimpanzees. It is home to 95 species of mammal and over 500 species of birds. The area around Ishasha in Rukungiri District is famous for its tree-climbing lions, whose males sport black manes. The park is also famous for its volcanic features, including volcanic cones and deep craters, many with crater lakes, such as the Katwe craters, from which salt is extracted.

Day 5

Bwindi Impenetrable | Virunga

Day 5: Full Day Tour at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Gorilla Tracking: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park an incredible preserve home to some of Africa's most endangered animals. It is a haven for gorilla tracking. It is known for its exceptional biodiversity, with more than 160 species of trees and over 100 species of ferns. The park is part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and is situated along the Democratic Republic of Congo border next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the western Rift Valley. Many species of birds and butterflies can also be found there, as well as many endangered species, including the mountain gorilla. This biologically diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are around 350 species of birds hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics. Many activities can be enjoyed at Bwindi such as: Birding, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Gorilla Tracking, Cultural Encounters and Hiking.

Day 6

Kidepo Valley

Day 6: Full Day Tour at Kidepo Valley N. Park - Breathtaking Savannah Landscape: The Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Uganda's most spectacular parks. It is 1,442 square kilometres and harbor scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa. Kidepo Valley National Park offers breathtaking Savannah landscapes, which end in rugged horizon. The vegetation can most excellent be described as open tree Savannah which varies much in structure and composition. Mountain forest dominates some of the high places, while areas along the Lorupei River support dense Acacia geradi forest. The flora and fauna of the park are more typical of Kenya than the rest of Uganda, such as lion, cheetah, leopard, bat-eared fox, giraffe - as well as almost 500 bird species.

Day 7

Day 7: A Day Tour to Kasubi Tombs: The Kasubi Tombs is a place where the Kabaka and others in Buganda’s complex cultural hierarchy frequently carry out important centuries-old Ganda rituals. It is built in 1882 and converted into the royal burial ground in 1884. Four royal tombs now lie within the Muzibu Azaala Mpanga, the main building, which is circular and surmounted by a dome. It is a major example of an architectural success in organic materials, principally wood, thatch, reed, wattle and daub.

Day 8

Day 8: Half-Day Excursion to Source of the Nile, Jinja Uganda: Jinja is popularly known to be the source of river Nile which is the longest river on planet earth and the spot where the first white man-John Speke discovered the source of the Nile is one of the most visited in Jinja. Because of the presence of River Nile, many activities such as white water rafting, kaying, fishing have developed alongside quadi biking and so many other activities. End of Tour.
