Day 1

Victoria Falls

Day 1: Victoria Falls part of the 7 World Natural Wonders Start your journey in Victoria Falls, the adventure capital of Africa. You won't be far from the Falls themselves and you will have time to enjoy the buzz of this exciting resort town, which is surrounded by its own wilderness and safari areas. Today you will have time to explore the picturesque town on foot as you are centrally located at the Ilala Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

Victoria Falls

Day 2: Explore the Surroundings of Victoria Falls After a leisurely breakfast your guide will await you in the lobby of the hotel to take you on a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls. Depending on the time of year, extra protection for the spray of the falls is required. The water levels reach their peak around March ~April, thus the chances of getting very wet are high. In the afternoon you can walk to the old train station (a mere 300 meters from the hotel) as you will be enjoying a tram ride over the century old bridge. This tour is includes, drinks, snacks and a stop at the bridge cafe where a narrator will tell you the story of the bridge.

Day 3

Victoria Falls | Zambezi

Day 3: Into the Zambezi National Park Road transfer to Zambezi National Park. Escape into a beautiful national park not far upstream from Victoria Falls. Mix the splendour of being at Pioneers Camp, where you will be staying on a full board basis, on the edge of the river with the thrill of being on an Africa Safari. Morning and evening safari activities on land or water allow you to soak up equally special experiences. Zambezi National Park is home to all of the big five except rhino.

Day 4

Zambezi

Day 4: The Wilderness of the Zambezi Catch the sunrise over the Zambezi river and enjoy a cup of tea of coffee on your veranda while watching the world around you wake-up. At pioneers Camp you can tailor your own day and choose from a good variety of activities. You may wish to go fishing, canoeing, cruising on the Zambezi or stay on land and go with your guide on a walking safari or drive.

Day 5

Victoria Falls | Zambezi

Day 5: Your last day on the Zambezi After a morning activity followed by a hearty brunch it is time to say goodbye to the camp and Zambezi National Park as you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back home or your onward journey.
