Itinerary

Day 1

Chobe

Day 1:  Upon arrival at Kasane airport, you will be met and taken to The Old House, where you will be staying for 1 night. Depending on your arrival time, we can organize an afternoon game drive or river cruise on the Chobe River for you (at additional cost).

Day 2

Chobe

Day 2:  At 09.00 am walk over to the safari starting point. A briefing will follow and at 09.30 am you board the boat for a 3 hour boat cruise into the Chobe National Park. You will have the chance to see fantastic bird life, hippos, crocodiles, and of course elephant and cape buffalo. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz restaurant at 12.30 pm. There is an opportunity to do last minute shopping in Kasane. You then depart on an afternoon game drive and arrive in camp shortly after sunset for drinks around the camp fire and dinner under the stars.

Day 3

Chobe

Day 3:  You will be woken up at dawn and after a quick cup of tea or coffee and a light continental breakfast vehicles head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats, or the rare wild dogs. Around mid to late morning you will return to camp for brunch and a siesta. When the day starts to cool off another afternoon game drive follows afternoon tea. Chobe National Park has a wide variety of game - the cats and large herbivores such as elephant and buffalo being a highlight, but rarer game such as puku, eland, sable and roan antelope along with many more common antelope can be viewed here. Return to camp after sunset for a reflective fireside chat. Dinner follows.

Day 4

Victoria Falls

Day 4: After a quick cup of tea or coffee and some cereal you head off on another early morning game drive. After your brunch you pack up and then leave the camp on your last activity which is usually another boat cruise, to be dropped off in Kasane/Kazungula at 4.30 pm and taken over the boarder to Victoria Falls by another transfer. There you will stay for 2 nights at either the N1 Hotel, the beautiful Batonka Guest Lodge, or the superb Victora Falls Hotel, the oldest and best hotel in the country.

Day 5

Victoria Falls

Day 5: Day at leisure to visit the falls and for one of many other activities that Victoria Falls has on offer, like a sunset cruise, a microlight or helicopter flight over the falls, white water rafting,...

Day 6

Day 6: After breakfast you will be taken to the airport, where your short trip ends. Further arrangements can be organised.
