Day 1
Day 1: Kampala city tour- Attending a cultural performance at Ndere center in the evening. After having breakfast your driver guide takes you the exciting Kampala city tour starting with a visit to the national Mosque, to Namirembe Cathedral, Rubaga cathedral, then to Kabaka’s palace, Martyrs shrine at Namugongo and The Uganda Museum for a complete feel of Uganda’s economic, political, cultural and social history as portrayed in different galleries. Dinner and overnight at Maries Royale Hotel/equivalent
Day 2
Lake Mburo
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo with an evening game drive/optional night game drive. After a late breakfast, drive westwards to Lake Mburo National park via Masaka-Mbarara high way with lunch en route. On arrival in the park, take an evening bush game drive where you should expect to see Zebras, Impala herds, Warthogs, water bucks, Topis among others. Check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock/equivalent
Day 3
Bwindi Impenetrable | Lake Mburo
Day 3: Lake Mburo National park-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. After having breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo national park. This park is famous for Zebras, Impalas, Jackson’s hartebeests, Cape Buffalos and many tropical bird species. You will have lunch and in the afternoon embark on an exciting road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park. Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp/equivalent
Day 4
Day 4: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi After having breakfast, drive to the park quarters for briefing before you head out to the most thrilling wildlife encounter in Africa. The location of Mountain Gorillas is unpredictable hence you will have packed lunch. In the evening, you will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation or do an optional hike to the many Islands surrounding Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi View Gorilla parkers
Day 5
Queen Elizabeth
Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Ishasha sector [Tree climbing Lions’ zone] After having breakfast, have a canoe ride led by an experienced guide or take a hike to one of the many scattered islands around Lake Bunyonyi. Later check out drive to the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth national park, which is famous for tree climbing Lions that are seen resting on Fig tree branches on hot afternoon. The zone is also a habitat for Cape Buffalo herds, African Elephants, Topis and many more. You will have lunch en route or at the lodge near the park. You will check in for relaxation, or take an optional nature walk around the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Park View Safari lodge/equivalent
Day 6
Day 6: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise at Kazinga channel After breakfast, you will go for a game drive most likely to Kasenyi plain which is a famous ground for Lions, African Elephants, and Spotted Hyena and many antelope species including Topis. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, have a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel. This water body is known for being a catchment for Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, African Elephants, Cape Buffalos and many water birds including Great White Pelicans and Great Cormorant. Dinner and overnight at Park View safari Lodge/equivalent
Day 7
Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking transfer back to Kampala via Mbarara-Masaka High way for the equator experience. Have an early morning breakfast and head to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild and later embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala with en route lunch in Mbarara. A stopover will be made at the Equator line for experiment and Photography, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Maries Royale Hotel/equivalent.
Day 8
Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe international airport After having breakfast at your pace or lunch depending on your scheduled time of departure, check out of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe international airport to readily catch your flight back home as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa!!
