Day 1: Johannesburg - Maun - Moremi Game Reserve Today you will leave Johannesburg early for Maun where you will drive into the Xakanaxa area of the Moremi Game Reserve, where you spend 2 nights in a bush camp on the banks of the Khwai River. This area is considered to be one of the most beautiful parts of Africa and this is where the sands of the Kalahari Desert meet the waters of the Okavango. After you have settled in to your safari accommodation and had time to refresh, you can enjoy afternoon tea and the sunset game viewing activity. Later, you can sit down to a delicious dinner around the camp fire and savour your first night in the wilderness.

Moremi | Okavango Delta

Day 3: Moremi Game Reserve - Okavango Delta Today you will transfer to the South-Western region on a short drive by 4x4 vehicle to the Delta, where you will spend the next 2 nights. The seasonal floodplains of the South-Western Okavango Delta offer a land of great drama and exceptional beauty which you will discover on a range of activities. The remote bush camp is in a private concession which allows for more flexibility in the activities.

Day 5: Okavango Delta - Maun - Johannesburg This if the final day of your Classic Moremi Wildlife Encounter Safari. This morning you will have the opportunity for a last game drive and breakfast in the Okavango. You will be transferred to the airport by road  for your flight back to Maun and the onward connection to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport.
