Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek - Swakopmund

Guests travel to Swakopmund which is located on the Namib Coast which is a windswept stretch of coastline otherwise known as the Skeleton Coast. The drive takes you via Okahandja, Usakos and the lagoon at Walvis Bay. Marvel at the sight of hundreds of the greater and lesser flamingoes in the Walvis Bay lagoon while enjoying a light lunch.

Day 2: Swakopmund - Sossusvlei

Namib-Naukluft

Leave Swakopmund at 12h00 and drive to a desert safari camp near Sesriem. You’ll drive via Kuiseb Pass and Gaub Pass, stopping to stretch your legs and take photos at the Tropic of Capricorn Crossing. Arrive at the overnight desert camp late afternoon, settle into your tented accommodation and enjoy a sunset walk over the Naukluft mountain range before it’s time for dinner.

Day 3: Sossusvlei

Early wake up for hot beverages and snacks before departing to explore the major attractions of Sossusvlei. First stop is Dead Vlei which is renowned for its ghostly bleached, cracked clay landscape and skeletal camel thorn trees. In the background are the famous Namibian Red Dunes which change colour as the sun rises and sets. After a comfortable hike exploring Dead Vlei, you’re taken to the famed Sossusvlei Dunes.

Day 4: Sesriem-Solitaire-Windhoek

After a leisurely breakfast, guests are taken to Solitaire which is a wildlife sanctuary for endangered cheetahs. They are orphaned or injured cheetahs that have been rescued but cannot be released back into their natural habitat for various reasons. departs for Windhoek after lunch, with a brief pitstop at Bullsport Guest Farm and Rehoboth. Arrive in Windhoek late afternoon. You can be dropped off at your pre-booked accommodation in the city or at the Windhoek International Airport.
