Day 1 TSAVO WEST Depart early in the morning for Tsavo West National park. Enjoy Kenya’s impressive vegetation as you drive towards the south. Arrive and transfer to Finch Hatton’s camp. Day 2

Tsavo

Day 2 TSAVO WEST Full day at Tsavo West National park with two extensive game drives. Finch Hatton's lies at the heart of Tsavo West National park, part of Kenya's single largest game reserve. The camp surrounds a natural freshwater spring, flowing through three crystal clear pools, with tents along the water's edge Yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea trees surround the tents. It is unfenced and wild 1A wide variety of game has been sighted on the surrounding plains. The springs are home to a resident pod of hippopotamus, which spend their days wallowing in the ponds and their nights grazing around the camp. Crocodiles and a healthy population of terrapins and monitor lizards also live here, and are often seen sunning themselves at the water’s edge. Bird life at Finch Hatton's is spectacular, with over 200 locally recorded species. Dinner and Overnight at Finch Hatton’s camp. Full Board.

Day 3

Tsavo

Day 3 Enjoy the day with extensive game drives and activities at Tsavo West National Park. The park’s habitats include open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges and isolated hills; belts of riverine vegetation; palm thickets and on the Chyulu hills, mountain forest. There are numerous rocky outcrops and ridges and part of the park, towards the Chyulu Hills, is of recent volcanic origin with lava flows and ash cones including the Shetani lava flow, an example of a recent volcano.
