This tour introduce you to Kigali city and having a good understanding of the city. It also introduce you to historic sites in Kigali city and Bugesera District. You may choose also to visit Camp Kigali Memorial. Lunch at your Hotel or recommended Restaurant. We may show you important places of the city and visit local markets (Either Kimironko or Nyamirambo) and taste some of the products and discuss with local people of your choice. The second day will be made with hiking to mount Kigali,horse riding and shopping in the afternoon.

Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: After breakfast, you will start the tour with visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial; the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building. In the afternoon, we will head to the Presidential Palace Museum; The Presidential Palace Museum is one of the new museums in Kigali, giving visitors a chance to visit the former state house as well as gain an overview of Rwanda’s history. Alternatively, we can also visit Richard Kandt House, which houses some interesting information on Rwanda’s flora, fauna geology and biological history or one of the arts centers in central Kigali.

Day 2

Day 2: A trip to the top of Mt. Kigali for views of the city and the countryside. To the top of the mountain, you can perform different activities including horse ride, trail ride, zip lines. On the way back from the Hiking, you will visit local shops and do some shoping for your souvenir. You may alternatively choose another store of your preference and yes we can recommend more. This tour ends at 4:00pm through departing to the Airpor or drop out at your Hotel. For the travellers interested at visiting genocide museum, , the first day would be unique for Kigali Genocide memorial and Ntarama & Nyamata genocide memorials in Bugesera Districts.
