Day 1
Matobo
Day 1-3: Amalinda Lodge, Matobo National Park You will be collected from Bulawayo and then have a transfer to Matopos for your 3-night stay at Amalinda. Guests can experience a truly unique dining experience, beneath the vast African sky, with views across the countryside rich in local fauna and flora and serenaded by the sounds of the wild. There’s nothing like the African wilderness to work up a healthy appetite. There are a few places, where you can lie beneath a canopy of rocks that emanate energy which is almost tangible. A mystical spirituality about the Matobo Hills calms, refreshes and rejuvenates the soul. Allow us to enhance this feeling of well-being at Amalinda Lodge’s Safari Spa. There are 2 activities each day which include either a bicycle ride, cultural and village tours, walks/hikes around the lodge, visit the world famous Tomb of Cecil John Rhodes or participate in rhino tracking by vehicle or on foot.
Day 4
Hwange
Day 4-6: Ivory Lodge, Hwange National Park After your morning activity and breakfast, you will be transferred to Hwange National Park, to your lodge for 3 nights which is Ivory Safari Lodge. Activities include guided game walks, Dete cultural tour, pan sits and guided game drives. Ivory Lodge, located in the forestry area on the outskirts of Hwange National Park, offers family-friendly safari experiences and is famous for its exhilarating up-close sightings of the Presidential Elephant Herd. The Lodge comprises of a Main Thatched dining and lounge area overlooking a guest swimming pool and overlooking a watering hole which is frequented by elephants, predators and a number of plains game species. The rooms themselves are elegantly built on stilted wooden platforms offering elevated views of the open floodplain and watering hole in front of camp.
Day 7
Victoria Falls
Day 7: Departure Today you will have a charter flight to Victoria Falls Airport for the end of your fabulous 6 night trip.
